Life Care Center of Grandview, Missouri, was recently named a 2017-2018 U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Home.
U.S. News & World Report rates centers using data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services covering health inspections, nurse staffing and quality of care.
Life Care Center of Grandview is one of just over 2,000 facilities in the country that received the Best honor, achieving top nursing home status among more than 15,000 nationwide. Fewer than 15 percent of nursing homes nationwide received a Best rating.
“It’s great to be a part of a team that provides quality care to the residents and patients in our community,” said Scott Harris, executive director at the center. “This does not come from just one work group or department. This is the result of multiple departments working in collaboration together to provide the best outcome for our patients and residents.”
